As a group of escape game entrepreneurs, we believe that there is a need for more escape game establishments in the country. Escape games are a growing trend, not just in Malaysia, but across the globe. Our vision is to provide a new and different experience for escape gamers, both amateur and advanced.
Escapism aims to introduce new players to this new form of entertainment that is taking the world by storm. This new form of entertainment aims to help players escape from the stresses in the real world, by transporting them into a realm of fantasy for a period of time. Players will discover clues, solve puzzles and accomplish tasks within a limited period of time, while taking on specific roles.
Our tagline "By escapers, For escapers" reminds us that at the end of the day, we are a bunch of escapers ourselves and that we are ready to take on the world by creating some of our own.
Are you ready? Let’s go!

Hisham Hamzah - President of Management (PM)
Hisham Hamzah graduated with a degree in Marketing from RMIT, Melbourne, Australia. He returned to Kuala Lumpur to pursue his passion in education, by moulding the young minds of our future. He teaches Economics to International Baccalaureate (IB) students in a private education organization. He also holds a managerial role in said organization.
Hisham’s passion for gaming is outwardly reflected in the unconventional way he teaches his students. This passion did not end when Hisham found the latest entertainment trend hitting Malaysian and even international shores - Escape Rooms. When Hisham developed a love for this interesting form of entertainment, there was no stopping him.
Roping in his partners, Sheryl Ho and Patrick Ho, who also happen to be avid fans of escape games, his mind was set. He and his teammates formed Escapism to provide a new experience of escape games.
Sheryl Ho - Communications Maestro (CM)
Sheryl Ho graduated with a degree in Accounting from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur. Upon graduation, she pursued jobs in Marketing and Public Relations to fulfill her passion. She acknowledged her love for Corporate Public Relations since being in the industry for the last five years.
Sheryl’s passion for escape games started back in 2013 when she realized how much fun they were and playing in a particular team made her enjoy it even more. During the time when her team accomplished 95% of the rooms in Klang Valley, Sheryl had always tried to help extend feedback to the creators or owners of the games.
It was then, Hisham Hamzah and Patrick Ho, decided to rope her in to start Escapism. With their different experiences and expertises, Sheryl is certain that Escapism will be going to greater heights.
Patrick Ho - Inspector General of Puzzles (IGP)
Patrick Ho is currently a Research Associate / PhD Candidate for Electronic Engineering from University of Nottingham. Prior to his pursuit for his postgraduate, he has been employed by several multinational companies (MNCs) as well as fulfilling his passion for education by teaching our younger generations by becoming a part-time lecturer.
Patrick’s passion for escape games started back in 2013 when escape games had first emerged in Malaysia. By forming his own team, they were able to complete more than 95% of the rooms in Klang Valley within a period of 10 months. By the end of 2014, Patrick realized that the rooms were becoming more repetitive in themes and nature, and not something that he personally enjoyed playing as a player.
Patrick then decided to join forces with Hisham Hamzah and Sheryl Ho to form Escapism to provide a new sense of the real escape games to players near and far.
